ABOUT ME

Greetings!
My name is Paula García Egea but many of my friends call me Ryuu.

I am a student of 3D animation, games and interactive environments. Not only do I like the audiovisual sector, but it is my passion and I want to dedicate myself to this no matter what the cost.
Video games and animation are a great motivation in my life and I want to be part of them in the future.
Creative ideas never stop appearing in my head to create stories, unique characters, interesting plots and incredible worlds. I always run to capture the idea in my drawings before I forget it.
I always look for a way to continue learning every day and stay active. I stand out above all for my perfectionism in all things. I never finish a job until it is perfect.
In this portfolio you will see many of my works done by me in different fields: Concep art, Animation, Scripts, Rigging, Modeling...
Concept art, animation and rig are my top points.

SKILLS

ANIMATION / ANIMACIÓN

Animation is one of my strongest points. I usually rely on a realistic style, but I also know the basic principles of animation and using them in a cartoon style. The program in which I specialize and study is Blender.

RIG

My rig skill is high. The jobs I got to do this years on rig are very good. Some of them are: An Indominus-Rex, Toothless (How to Train Your Dragon), Human, Spider, etc… Rig in Blender.

DESING / CONCEPT ART

In character creation projects, mine have very good model sheets (Construction, turn around, color tests, etc...). As well as character sketches created by me. Programs used, photoshop.
I also know how to use the different camera shots that exist to create StoryBoards and technical/literary scripts.

MODEL / MODELAJE

My models are based on the model sheets in design. I have some weapons, two settings and a character. All own. All modeled in Blender

TEXTURES / TEXTURIZADO

My texturing capabilities are very high, both in procedural techniques or maps created by me. Programs used: Blender and Substance Painter.

VFX

I did some works of Postproduction, color and VFX, I used After Effects and Premiere to do them.
The results of them were very good.

In 3D animation I have many jobs of all kinds. The ones that stand out the most are the reel demos that I had to do as my final work, besides other works (Exercises with balls). All used models are free, some rigged by myself and freely licensed. Demos: Arcane scene, Indominus-Rex (Rigged by me), Toothless(Model by Fuloanimations Studio, Rigged by me).
